This weekend a friend of mine was brutally murdered by a bunch of kids for no reason at all. He was a wonderful person, always happy and friendly, wouldn't hurt a fly. It's hard to understand something like this could happen to him, or anyone else for that matter. Over four hundred of his friends showed up at his memorial yesterday, which goes to show how deep he managed to touch people's hearts. It's really hard to get back to life the way it was before, I just can't stop thinking about what's happened.
So show your friends how much you appreciate them, you never know when someone will be snatched away forever. Life can be very cruel.

ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what my town would be like if kids walked around attacking eachother, and I dont want to imagine what It would be like if people were killing eachother. we do have two gangs (that hate eachother and have fought before, only once with guns. no one has ever died in one of the fight though) but they only show up to use our mall/movie theatre. Well, I'm really sorry that this had to happen to you. A friend dying or getting killed is one thing, but if it was for no reason it just adds a whole new factor of pain.
I am very sorry for your loss too... Do not let the pain paralyse you, though. I am sure he would want you to live happily even when he's gone, it will be the best you can do for him. At least, if I died, I wouldn't be happy if I changed somebody's life to the worse.
