A lot of the games on my site are just small experiments dressed up as games. I'm glad that people still seem to enjoy them.

It's for a flash port. I might be prejudice, but the flash crowd doesn't always seem to appreciate just pixel art.
And I was planning on doing this as an unlockable bonus for BDTUW anyway :P
they don't dig it because most (but not all) are quite young. Like...early teens to mid teens. they didn't grow up in pixel art and they are used to fancy gradients and shiny vector images, etc.
still, it's a cool thing. do it. oh man, I cannot wait to see the rage comments on various flash portals when they encounter the bee area. ho ho..

If it's a flash remake, then you should definitely do this - make some money out of a great game.
If it's just a remake in GM, then it'd be a bit pointless.
Overall, I like the new graphics, especially tilty heads! :D
I like the idea of it being a hidden 'Brain Damaged Mode'. I'm very fond of the original's cuteness which sat at odds with the content. This version, while trademark cactus, loses some of that effect perhaps?

Yay! I think the old font could use a little work though. the Y, V, N, and probably some others are kind of hard to read.
I support this! I also second altering the font, I (and everyone who I've showed the game to) has had a lot of trouble reading it.
I'm all for it... (incredibly late as this may be, just felt like it needed to be said.)
