Similar story happened to my friend. He was walking a street late at night and someone randomly came up, punched him in the face and ran off. Had a black eye for a week or more.

Do not listen to the people who tell you how to learn to fight. No matter what martial artists will tell you, in the sort of fights we are talking about, strong beats skillful every single time. Go do some proper weightlifting (powerlifting, not bodybuilding) and noone will ever do this again.
We get a lot of that sort of thing where I live. Some people really are jerks.

you should learn some martial arts, all martial arts are good and will help you in a fight. lifting weights doesnt help you as much as learning to fight will.
